Ms. Susan Alexander, Special Education Inclusion

This is Ms. Alexander's 10th year at Greenbriar. She has a passion for teaching students and helping them discover that they are smart, they are special, they can do hard things. When she is not at Greenbriar, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, following her favorite team, the Texas Rangers. Ms. Alexander enjoys being outside, crafting, such as scrapbooking, diamond painting, and coloring.
 
She became an educator to make a difference in the lives of any student she's been given the opportunity to teach. She had wonderful teachers throughout her education, but had some teachers that didn't understand how to teach a student that struggled with learning. Ms. Alexander wanted to be an educator that could teach and make a difference in the lives of students, regardless of the differences or challenges they face. She wanted to teach to show all students that they can do anything they set their mind to.

She wants all her students to know this mantra:
I am smart!
I am special!
I can do hard things!
