Mrs. Herrera (Shaffer)

This is Mrs. Herrera's eighth year teaching at Greenbriar, and she loves being a Mustang! Her favorite part of teaching is helping students succeed and watching how much they grow throughout the year. When she is not at school, she enjoys exercising, reading, traveling and spending time with her husband and family. 

Mrs. Herrera decided to become a teacher because she was lucky enough to have some amazing teachers in her life, and she wanted to make a positive difference in her students' lives like other educators did for her. She is looking forward to an amazing school year!
