Mrs. Staros has 4 children (2nd, 5th Grade, and 2 in college!). She loves running, roller coasters, donuts, and going exploring with her family. She started teaching in FWISD in 1999 and has served as a 3rd-5th Grade Teacher, Instructional Specialist, Data Analyst, Dean of Instruction, Learning Network Coordinator, Assistant Principal, and Principal. She is honored to have the privilege of serving here at Greenbriar since 2013. Greenbriar is home to her.
Personal Expectation: Work Hard, Be Nice. If everyone does those two things, most everything else falls into place.

Mrs. Rodriguez has been a part of the Greenbriar family for over 10 years. She has worked as the Family Communication Liaison is the Administrative Assistant. She is a FWISD alumni. She attended Worth Heights ES, Rosemont Middle, and graduated from Paschal High School. She has four beautiful grown children. On her free time, she loves to travel to the beach & spend time with her family.

Mrs. Kincade has been married to her loving husband for over 40 years. She has 3 beautiful children and 5 grandchildren. She has been at Greenbriar for more than 5 years as a Campus Monitor. Mrs. Kincade is a team player and a people person. She enjoys the students and staff at Greenbriar. Her daily slogan is “All Smiles In The Building.”

Ms. Miller is so thrilled to be starting her 11th year as the Guidance Counselor at Greenbriar. She has been with the district for over 20 years. Ms. Miller graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. After teaching kindergarten for 7 years, she attended Texas Christian University, where she received a Master of Science in Guidance and Counseling.
Working as a counselor is just the perfect job for her. Ms. Miller's main focus is the students and helping them to develop strategies that will assist them in managing stress levels, and using social skills to become happy students and future adults.
When she is not at school, she loves traveling, swimming, and running. Ms. Miller also has two fur babies that keep her smiling!

Ms. Cornejo, Title 1 Teacher

Ms. Cornejo was raised in Fort Worth and attended the University of North Texas where she received her Bachelor's of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. After graduation in 1998, she began her education career with Fort Worth ISD. She served as a teacher at Worth Heights and Edward J. Briscoe Elementaries for 16 years, mainly in grades 3-5. Ms. Cornejo later graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington with her Master's in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and obtained her principal certification.
During her time at Greenbriar, she has served as the Data Analyst and will continue as the Title 1 Teacher. She will work with students as well as other roles throughout the campus. Ms. Cornejo has made some special memories at all 3 campuses and still keeps in touch with her former students! She loves working with students, watching their progress, and their journey into independent and creative learners. When Ms. Cornejo isn't working, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and fur-babies as well as cheering on her favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys!

Jaclyn Nieto is the campus Speech Language Pathologist. She is starting her 13th year with the school district and her 5th year at Greenbriar. She loves giving her students the power of communication and teaching them that their voice matters. Outside of work, she spends all her time chasing around her son (18 months old). They enjoy the outdoors, reading, eating, and playing.
At an early age, Ms. Nieto knew she wanted to be in education. Her aunt worked for a headstart with special education students. She would go to work with her often and fell in love with working with her students. Ms. Nieto didn't know anything about Communication Disorders until she started taking her cousin to speech therapy twice a week after school. She asked questions and changed her major to communication disorders that school year. She keeps his speech graduation certificate hanging in her office.

Mrs. Lopez has been married for 31 years and has 3 daughters and 1 granddaughter. She has always lived in Fort Worth and has worked at Greenbriar Elementary School for 20 years. For fun, she likes to shop and spend time with her family.
Mrs. Menchaca

Mrs. Menchaca has been married for 26 years and has 3 children. SHe has always lived in Fort Worth and has worked at Greenbriar Elementary School for 17 years. Her favorite food is tacos. For fun, Mrs. Menchaca likes to dance, walk and go to church.

Mr. Henry loves football and basketball. His two favorite teams are the Dallas Cowboys and LA Lakers. Lebron James is his favorite basketball player. He loves eating candy. Jolly rancher’s are his favorite, along with Big Red soda. Mr. Henry is a family man who loves spending time with his wife and 4 children (ages 6,14,15, and 19). He loves cleaning, so that’s why he's the head custodian. He also just loves having fun!

Mrs. Dawson

Mrs. Dawson is from Marshall, a small east Texas town. She graduated from Wiley College with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood through 6th grade. She is currently working toward becoming a Reading Diagnostician through the program at the University of Texas at Tyler. Mrs.Dawson has taught for over ten years in the grades pre-k through 1st grade.
She enjoys teaching the children new things and how to have them become more independent. One of her greatest lessons she has ever learned was through her students. Mrs.Dawson says the kids intrigue, inspire and ignite a passion for teaching in her and she enjoys every minute of it. She is proud to be a mustang and looks forward to the new school year.
Mrs. De Moctezuma, PK Assistant

Sra. Moctezuma nacío y crecío en Guanajuato México. Ha vivido en Fort Worth desde que se caso hace 27 años, tiene una maravillosa hija de 22 años. Este será su quinto año en Greenbriar pre-k. Realmente ella disfruta su trabajo como asistente de maestra con los estudiantes. Se sorprendío lo rápido que aprenden, sus mentes son como una esponja. Esta afortunada de ser parte de sus primeros años. Su objetivo es construir una conexión positiva con ellos y sus familias. Sra. Moctezuma es tan ansiosa por conocerlos, compartir con ustedes y caminar este año escolar juntos como una familia.

Mrs. Sanchez graduated from the Universidad Autonoma de Zcatecas, Mexico with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She received a Bilingual Teacher Certification through Alternative Certification Program ECAP and earned a CDA Certification to foster the social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth of young children. It was when she started working at CCA programs, that she realized the importance of early childhood education and decided to further learn about the wonderful and fascinating education of young children.
Mrs. Sanchez has been in education for more than 20 years and loves to teach children to become independent learners. Mrs. Sanchez loves to go walking, reading, enjoys spending time with her family. She wants the Greenbriar families to know she is here to do her best to support their children’s education.

Ms. Carr is a native Texan, raised in Dallas and then east Texas. She spent time in high school and college on the rodeo circuit, first barrel racing and then as a Justin Heeler or medic for the cowboys. Some people collect stamps or coins, but she likes to go to school for her hobby. Ms. Carr has an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts, a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine, Master's degrees in Youth Ministry, Pastoral Care and Education, and she has almost completed her Doctoral degree. She is the proud mom to Ursula and her son-in-love, David, who live in Ft. Worth. Ms. Carr is also a dog mom to two spoiled dogs named Stop and Go. In her down time, she likes to host dinner parties, garden, travel, play candy crush, and volunteer at her church. She has had the same group of best friends for the last 25 years and they are known as the Christmas cabin.
She decided to become a teacher because some of the people who made the biggest impact on her life were teachers. Mrs. Ring taught not only 3rd grade English, but the importance of being kind. Ms. Carlozzi taught her sophomore English and that she was responsible for her actions. Coach McCloskey taught AP US history and how to be a person of integrity. Dr. Stockman taught her sports medicine and that she could achieve more through hard work and determination. They impacted all phases of her life and helped her to understand that the life best lived is one in which you are helping others to achieve their full potential.
Mrs. Carr is honored to be part of the team at Greenbriar and looking forward to the school year.

Mrs. Andujo (Lopez)

This will be Mrs. Paulina Andujo's second year as a bilingual teacher at Greenbriar. She was born and raised in El Paso, TX and moved to Fort Worth with her husband, Leo, and their dog Beba, about 5 years ago. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a bachelor's in EC-6 bilingual education in 2022. Mrs. Andujo enjoys riding her bike, exploring new parks, hiking, reading and spending time with her family and friends. She decided to become a teacher to positively impact the life of students and help them foster a love for learning!

Mrs. Sanchez Perea is a product of FWISD and was part of the Bilingual program throughout her elementary school years. ¡Su corazón late en dos idiomas! She decided to become a teacher because she loves to help and serve others. There's no better way to serve others than to teach children. Additionally, she wants students to feel represented by her, her background, her culture, her struggles, and her obstacles, so that they too can achieve what they put their heart and mind to. It's very important for Mrs. Sanchez Perea, that you know that we are all one team rooting for your children!

Es un honor para ella contribuir en la formación educativa de sus niños. Cada año le da lo mejor de su y trabajo muy duro para ayudar a los estudiantes a salir adelante. 3rd Grade
Ms. Brown

Welcome, Ms. Ceola Brown (AKA Ms. C. Brown)! Ms. Brown is a divorced mom of 4 beautiful daughters who are nicked named "The Quad" and a fur baby named Valentines (she is a heeler mix with natural heart markings on her sides) hence, the name Valentines. She is Early Childhood-6 grade (EC-6) and English as a Second Language (ESL) certified with 7 plus years experience in education (six of those years in FWISD). Ms. Brown is a veteran of USAF, Hoorah! She dabbles in martial arts and is a Bruce Lee fan. She is intermediate in Spanish and has pretty good vocabulary in the language and on her way to fluency. Her class atmosphere is very hands on and interactive. She loves to see little minds explore and learn in a judgement free zone. Ms. Brown highly believes all children can learn with a dedicated and loving teacher. She also believes it takes a village.

Ms. Newton is originally from Fort Worth and loves teaching for the city she grew up in. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2006. She loves the excitement that comes with teaching and is always eager to ignite a passion for learning in her students! She became a teacher because she believes that she possesses the qualities necessary to ignite a passion for learning in children. Ms. Newton loves being an educator and, more than that, she loves Greenbriar students and their families! She is so grateful for the relationships she has built with many of the families of Greenbriar!

Mrs. Saldivar was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. She earned her Associates of Arts in Teaching from Tarrant County College, a Bachelor of Arts in Education and a Master of Education in the concentration of Reading and Writing. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, taking pictures, scrapbooking, traveling, and being active outdoors.
Ms. Villegas

Ms. Villegas is a first generation college graduate. She is very proud of her roots and where she comes from. Ms. Villegas has a four-year-old son, who is also a Mustang! She has enjoyed watching him grow and become such a happy, spirited boy. She loves teaching, but she also has a passion for party planning. In my free time, Ms. Villegas is a balloon artist. She loves bringing happiness to children, and is privileged to be able to do so in and outside of the classroom. Ms. Villegas says she became a teacher because she has always wanted to help others. It allows her to help young children grow, making a difference one student at a time.
4th Grade
Mrs. Rodriguez
Mrs. Rodriguez was born in Coahuila, Mexico but raised here in Fort Worth. She received her degree from Texas Wesleyan University. This is her 6th year teaching. She has taught grades 1,2,3,5, but so far, 5th grade has been her favorite.
Mrs. Rodriguez has two beautiful girls named Giselle and Andrea with her 3rd baby girl on the way. Giselle will be starting 1st grade this year and Andrea is three years old. Her dog is a golden doodle and her name is Stormi and she's the best dog ever. During her summer and free time, she loves going to the beach, traveling, swimming and spending time with her family creating new memories with all the kids bonding.
Elementary school was some of the happiest memories of her life. School was fun, her teachers were amazing. They all inspired her to become a teacher.
Mrs. Rodriguez is very excited about the new school year! She's excited about her new students and the new relationships the upcoming school year will bring. She loves the new curriculum and is so excited to reteach it this year. Mrs. Rodriguez thinks we will all have lots of fun learning this school year!
Mrs. Rosario
Mrs. Rosario-Agosto is a very cheerful person who likes to help others, is punctual and very dedicated to the things she does. She knows how to recognize her mistakes and seeks to fix them for her benefit and that of others. Since she was in elementary school, she wanted to be a teacher and work to help children learn.

Mr. Carrasco, Art

Mr. Carrasco likes to learn; he likes to think of himself as a lifelong learner. There is so much room for growth, regardless of age. He wants to create a positive environment where students can create, and allow themselves to hone their thoughts, to be expressive and translate them into creativity. In his free time, he enjoys painting, learning how to cook new (or old) dishes, or playing video games. Mr. Carrasco loves to spend time with his fiancé (they just got engaged over the summer). They like taking their dog out for walks, going to the gym, and watching TV shows together. He absolutely LOVES strawberry cheesecake and burgers. If he gets the chance, he likes to pose for photos. It makes things more fun and sillier.
Mr. Carrasco believes his "why" to become an educator developed through the wonderful teachers that he had himself throughout his educational career. He had many amazing instructors that truly, genuinely encouraged him and wanted him to succeed in life. Helping him refine his skills so that he could have opportunities and choose any profession that he wanted. Ultimately, Mr. Carrasco had decided to teach. His "why", is to reflect the same nourishing and warm positivity he was given; thus, he would like to do the same for future learners.

This is Ms. Alexander's 10th year at Greenbriar. She has a passion for teaching students and helping them discover that they are smart, they are special, they can do hard things. When she is not at Greenbriar, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, following her favorite team, the Texas Rangers. Ms. Alexander enjoys being outside, crafting, such as scrapbooking, diamond painting, and coloring.

Mrs. Allums became an educator to foster a LOVE for learning within little scholars. She believes that play-based learning fosters creative thinking so children can succeed in our complex and ever-changing world. As a teacher, she considers each child’s individual strengths, skills, and abilities to extend their learning. Mrs. Allums believes that a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment is paramount for quality Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Allums is THRILLED to join the Greenbrier team! It is going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures and she cannot wait to see what this year has in store for ECSE! She LOVES Early Education and all the learning and growing that comes with it! When she is not teaching, she enjoys volunteering and helping in the community, reading, painting, organizing spaces, and spending time with her family and friends!

Ms. Edwards has been married to her wonderful husband for 39 years. She has 6 beautiful grandchildren and she loves her job.
Mrs. Goff, RISE

Mrs. Goff has been teaching at Greenbriar Elementary for the last 9 years in the RISE classroom. She has also taught pre-K, kindergarten, first grade, and fifth grade in the years prior to teaching at Greenbriar. She has taught in Fort Worth ISD as well as Arlington ISD. Mrs. Goff has always enjoyed working with children. While taking courses in college, psychology and sociology were courses that led her to education. She comes from a family of educators.
